June 12, 1963 – April 7, 2019
Mitch E. Miller of Grand Junction, CO passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at 12:35p.m. at his home surrounded by his family after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Mitch is preceded in death by his father, Lenny D. Miller. He leaves behind his mother, Sharon Miller, two brothers, Troy Miller (Bette) and Lenny Miller (Shawn), his wife, Lisa Miller and three children; Brandon Miller, Amanda Veit (Steve), and Samantha Miller, as well as four grandchildren.
Services will be held at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado on April 15, 2019 at 1:00p.m.
Mitch was born in Denver, CO and moved to Grand Junction when he was four years old. His childhood was spent exploring the great outdoors in the Clifton and Fruitvale areas with his younger brothers Troy and Lenny. The boys’ adventures ranged from a “sandlot” baseball field to mud pit race car tracks for their hot wheels and home-made bicycles and go-karts.
Mitch graduated from Central High School and joined the United Stares Air Force, where he proudly served his country from 1982 to 1990 and received many accommodations during his service.
Mitch returned to Grand Junction and made a life of family, friends and fishing. He was loved by many and will be missed. He was taken from us way too soon.
